Our Rewild programs are seasonally inspired, nature based immersions that cultivate a deep kinship with nature. Within a culture of connection kids are supported to develop their sense of belonging, build their naturalist knowledge and forge lasting friendships.
The Rewild Program
The Rewild program is a drop and leave nature-inspired program that runs termly for ages 8-12 years old.
The Rewild program is the meeting place between kids passions and the changing seasons. Utilising his skills in bushcraft, wilderness awareness, creativity and storytelling Andrew provides an engaging atmosphere of exploration and discovery. Specialised in the 8-Shields framework, programs are permeated with core nature-connection routines to cultivate meaningful experiences with each other and nature. Kids can expect to take on fun projects, play exhilarating games, cultivate their skills with knife and fire, find calm in the wind, have courageous conversation and explore our majestic home through Cape to Cape adventures. Term 3: Survive and Thrive
Over the 8-week session we will explore what we need to Survive and Thrive. Kids will learn to collect and purify water, they will make their own fire kit (fire-steel, leather tinder pouch and charcloth), build on their tarpology skills, fire-cooking and plant knowledge in preparation for our CAMPOUT!

Term 2: Fire and Campcraft
Over the 8-week session we rewilders will learn the ways of fire, using ancient and modern methods, we will craft camp items (such as a pot holder and begin a coal cup), explore our surrounds and hike our wild coast. As always with our Rewild Program, we incorporate core-nature connection routines into the rhythm of our day, we build on the curiosity of the kids and provide tools and resources for emergent projects. Come join us as we explore our wild belonging.
Over the 6-week session the kids will make bug catchers, create homes for our native blue banded-bees, build a bushcraft clay wall and explore our wild coast. As always with our Rewild Program, we incorporate core-nature connection routines into the rhythm of our day, we build on the curiosity of the kids and provide tools and resources for emergent projects.
