The Wild Ones – Djilba Series

Starting July 29/30th

The Djilba Series marks the next chapter in our journey together.

As we return to the familiar bushland of Forrest Grove, children will deepen their relationship with the places they have come to know and love. Favourite climbing trees, hidden paths, cubbies and gathering spaces will continue to evolve as the children care for and shape them over time.

Rather than simply visiting nature, children are invited to build an ongoing relationship with place. Through returning week after week, they develop a deeper sense of belonging, confidence and stewardship for the land.

This season will continue to expand the children's play spaces, with cubby building, our growing mud kitchen, seasonal projects and opportunities for families to contribute to the evolving village. Guided by the rhythms of Djilba and the interests of the children, we will continue creating a place that feels deeply connected, cared for and shared. 3-hour immersive nature session


Ages 4–7 years

Limited places to preserve a small, connected group.

We use a simple application process to help form a balanced and harmonious group. By considering age mix, gender diversity, and individual needs, we can create a space where all children feel safe, included, and able to thrive.

At this stage, sessions will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

INVESTMENT

We’re offering a Founding Season Rate for families joining us at the beginning of this journey.

$55 per session $45 per session
$495 per season. $405 Autumn Season (9 weeks)

Your contribution supports:

  • experienced facilitation

  • access to land and space

  • materials and resources

  • the ongoing creation of a sustainable, community-led space

This is not just a session —
it’s an investment in a community your family can grow within.

We offer a 10% sibling discount for families attending together.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

To keep things simple and sustainable, we offer two options:

Option 1 — Pay in Full
Secure your child’s place for the full season

Option 2 — Split Payment

  • 50% upfront to secure your spot

  • Remaining 50% due by the 4th week.

This is a small, intentionally held space.

Your investment supports:

  • experienced facilitators

  • access to land and facilities

  • resources and materials

  • the time and care it takes to build something long-term

We are committed to creating something that can last -
for your family and many others to come.

Commitment

Spots are limited and held for the full 9 week season

We are unable to offer casual attendance or refunds for missed sessions.

This helps create:

  • consistency for children

  • stronger relationships

  • a more grounded group experience

When starting out at Wild Ones we do offer a refund if you decide it’s not for your family within the first 4 sessions.

Sibling Discount

We offer a 10% discount for siblings attending the same session.

This supports families while still allowing the space to remain sustainable.

Parent Responsibility

We are creating something different.

Parents helping parents. Funds are paying for resources, land use and a facilitator to offer experiences. We understand that this age group thrives with a bit of space and to be seen by others in the community. If you leave the property whilst your child is in session please tell the nature facilitator who is taking responsibility of your child.
